EDUCATION: Courses, Seminars and Classroom Presentations

  • We offer a full range of scuba diving courses from open water (beginner) and snorkeling programs to professional training and scientific diving through private courses in Canada (Victoria, British Columbia), and in Mexico.

  • Our education program has expanded beyond our early beginnings when we focused primarily on scuba diving, and now includes courses, seminars, and online guest speaker presentations for all ages and on topics from both land and sea.

  • These include, but are not limited to:

    • Expert photography and videography support before and during our expeditions to enhance your experience;

    • Presentations about conservation efforts locally and abroad, such as blue carbon capture programs through eelgrass ecosystem restoration and rehabilitation of coral reefs;

    • Slide shows about recent and upcoming adventures, including our social enterprise work around the world and special interviews with our expedition leaders.

  • To align with our H2OW ARE YOU Initiative, we also connect with schools around the world to lead classroom discussions and excursions such as forest and beach walks to highlight the significance of biodiversity and climate change.

  • This plays a role in the partnerships with teachers and administrators as part of our student interactive programs and "Sole Mates Walk-a-thon" events as conservation projects for kids.
